For the fourth year in a row Kris Miller won top honors in the Inspirational Country Music (ICM)
week songwriting competition. Last year she was nominated as songwriter of the year, and the
last 2 years she won 1st in the songwriting event, and the year before she won 2nd. Her song
"Be A Light" was also number one in USA and in Europe. People everywhere are finding that Kris’
songs truly touch the tender places in their heart and relate to the way we feel toward our Lord
Jesus Christ.
Kris’ ministry is more than just the music, although that aspect of her life really shines.
Her songwriting skills have won her many awards and recognitions in the music world. What makes
a great song is the ability to open your heart to the Holy Spirit. It’s living like Jesus that
brings about true communion with God. Each one of us who has experienced being touched by The
Lord can share that with others that truly need His love. Living in and sharing Gods love with
each other is what binds us together as God’s family. Kris will tell you this is her true
